I have been a customer/patient at the KC Eye Clinic for more than 30 years. I believe in and trust the doctors, nurses and technicians who have cared for and treated both myself and family members over that time. In July this year my regular eye exam revealed significant cataracts in both eyes. The surgeries were timely and efficient. The sight in each eye was very significantly improved. The procedure almost totally painless. Dr Biggerstaff and the whole staff made it as easy as possible. The follow -up with Dr Rebecca Nichols was thorough and timely and informative. Dr. Megan Haghnegahdar is the best. My eye was in a bad way when I was referred to her and I can say she did everything to make my eye better. She is very nice and I felt at ease from my first appointment. All the staff from the ladies who checked me in, the ladies that assisted the doctor and the ladies who checked me out were great! I highly recommend the Kansas City Eye Clinic, you won’t be disappointed.

I had been a patient of Dr. Stephen Unterman at Mid American Eye Center from about 1995 until March of 2026. After his retirement, I was referred to Dr. H with KC Eye Clinic, who diagnosed an infection due to a tight lense and another problem involving the eye in which I had a corneal transplant in 2008. I'm still not used to the size of the clinic, nor having my eye doctors in separate buildings.

I was referred back to Dr. Ohly to have a capsulotomy done. He did cataract surgery on both my eyes 2 years ago with great results. He told me at that time I might need this quick procedure done down the road. I went there this week, was seen promptly and got scheduled. Their ophthalmologists, optometrists and office staff are top notch. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I was welcomed by KC Eye Surgery Anesthesiologist and RN Staff. All of the staff was kind, supportive and offered me a warming blanket before cataract surgery. They were professional and so very polite to me. Anesthesiologist gave me a cherry flavored syrup sedative. After answering a few questions on what I was allergic to the next thing I recall was being conscious, but only felt a minor stinging sensation and seeing pulsating marshmallows atop a blue and pink painted washes of color. This is the nicest place to have a cataract removed and my Ophthalmologist is the Greatest Blessing to me. Her Staff and Surgical Team receives 500 Gold Stars and a Big Thank you from me!
