Moved to KC Eye Center when Dr Bircher joined the practice. Very thorough and conscientious. Love the staff and availability of appointments. High level of confidence in their eye exams with recent technologies. Returned to Dr. Bircher after five years when my new VSP coverage was in network.

I got the mono vision one eye for near and the other eye for far for my cataract surgery. I was going to get the multi focal lenses but Dr Ohly said those can sometimes cause halos in low light and I also found a research paper online that stated the same. I am glad I did the mono -one near-one far option because the lenses provide crisp vivid color and good night vision. I went to my first KC Chiefs game which was a night game and was astounded at how vivid and clear the field and players were. I also had a canaloplasty for glaucoma which was successful at getting my pressure down. I had gone to two other ophthalmologists before Dr Ohly and am so glad I found his practice. Everyone in the clinic has been top notch

Dr.Stephen Nichols is always very courteous and professional in his care of my eyes. When he found I had ARMD he immediately referred me to a retina specialist. He doesn't recommend unnecessary surgeries or new lenses, but let's you know when the time will be right for either one. He is very personable and punctual. Appointments are scheduled appropriately so no unnecessary waiting. My husband is also a patient and agrees with this assessment. Thank you KCEyeClinic.

A sign at the check-in desk warned patients that the practice is extremely busy at holiday time and we need to be patient. Faith was very efficient in prescreening and verifying I was there for pressure check only. I did wait for
Dr. Biggerstaff for roughly 30 minutes
which she apologized for and was kind ,professional and happy to tell me my eye pressure had improved. It's a busy and popular practice and for me the wait is a small price to pay for thorough and proper care.
